When we are young, in our teens, we all assume that everyone we talk to, is our friend.
However, later in life, we begin to realise how most of them are mere acquaintances. We start to work for our careers, want a stable relationship, friendship and what not. Whilst all this, we tend to forget it is our peace that matters the most.
Then comes a point where you sit back and, while sipping your coffee, you begin to realise how powerful you are. You have the power to decide who stays in your life, who you talk to, who you restrict, who you unfriend, who you love and would take a bullet for. It is such a beautiful feeling to have. It is a feeling that we must acknowledge all the time.
When you see your “friend” not having empathy and always being judgmental.. You first think- “Well, it is okay, not everyone’s the same.” However, when time passes, you realise that the basic traits of humanity are something one must have and you cannot entertain the energy that doesn’t endorse it. If you do not cut off such people from your life, you will turn into them. Would you want that? Would you want to face the almighty with the guilt of hanging out with monsters disguised as humans?
There are certain things one must not compromise on. There will be guilt, yes. But trust me, after some time, the peace that will come along will make everything seem worth it. You will feel proud for standing up for your moral values. Your almighty will be happy he chose you as their child.
If you do not let go of people with toxic mindsets, how would you make room for people who feel like sunshine? THINK!!!!!!
Well said dost 👏🏼
ReplyDeleteThis is so well written ! Having people with good moral ethics regardless of how different they are from us is really important, there is a fine line between being different and being toxic, most people put on pink glasses to not see their loved ones in that light and keep suffering with the questions of morality each time that person does something wrong. This is really intriguing and thought provoking 😇
ReplyDeleteEnergy doesn’t lie. So true.
ReplyDeleteWow… this is so on point 👏I honestly felt every single line of this. With time, you start noticing people’s true colors and realise not everyone is meant to stay and that’s okay. Peace is worth so much more than keeping people around just because they’ve been there for a while. Cutting people off isn’t about being cold, it’s about choosing yourself and your peace. Love how you put it into words. 🤌🏻
ReplyDeleteYou have done such a great job at putting that feeling into words. Loved every word of it❤️
ReplyDeleteWoww...Loved it!🫶✨️
